The gîte consists of a kitchen with a veranda, a living/dining room, two bedrooms, one with a mezzanine, two bathrooms and a nursery. You will also profit from a 300 m2 garden. For wintertime, the gîte is furnished with central heating.

Kitchen

Since we are very fond of cooking, we have tried to equip the kitchen with cooking accessoires a little more sophisticated than the common standard to enable you to enjoy the preparation of the regional specialities. The kitchen is furnished in American style, equipped with a gas-/electric stove, a coffee-espresso-set, a big refrigerator and a breakfest table. You will find a washing machine in our laundry underneath the terrace.

Veranda

Adjacent to the kitchen is the veranda. Because of the southwest position it might get a bit warm in summer time, but in the rest of the year and when the mistral blows it becames a very pleasant winter garden.

Living room

With its natural stonewalls and its east position the living room stays cool even when the weather is very hot. It is furnished with a dining table for 8 Person and a lounge corner. The sofa can be switched over in a bed sized 140x200 with nearly no effort and is equipped with a comfortable moussefoam mattress.
Since we are convinced non-televiewers we consciously abandoned the provision with a “telly”. Nevertheless the house is equiped with a dish antenna and a receiver, so if you wish the watch TV, we would kindly ask you to bring a set with you. To ensure your contact to the world outside, a small HiFi-set with radio and CD player is present, so please feel free to bring your favorite CDs. The installation of a Wireless-LAN is intended and will be realized as soon as France Telecom provides the necessary network.

Bedrooms

The gîte deposes of two bedrooms, which we called lavender bedroom and Cathedral because with its gallery the latter can sleep up to 4 persons. Since sleeping comfort is of avery great importance to us, we equipped the two rooms with German latex futons sized 140x200. For the enthusiasts of the softer French beds, we furnished the gallery with with a classical, french sized (140x190) moussefoam matress.

Our green room, that is connected to the kitchen, the green bathroom and the two bedrooms, serves as a nursery. It is furnished with a bunk bed sized 90x190 and a little playing corner. To enable even smaller kids to play without permanent observation, we secured both staircases with safety guards.

Bathrooms

Nobody really likes to wait for his morning toilet, so we installed two fully equiped bathrooms. The blue bathroom is integrated in the Cathedral (like a “confessional”) and the green is corressponds with the lavender bedroom and the nursery.

Garden

You have nearly finished your virtual tour through our gîte, the only thing left is the garden! It is placed about 25 m opposite the street. In the middle of fruit trees you will find an extendable table for 8 persons, a barbecue and some canvas chairs. Due to his southwest position, there is sunshine nearly the hole day and if you come together for a glass of wine in the evening, you will be able to enjoy the sunset behind the spur of Mont Lozere ...
